For over a decade, we’ve brought the heart of Mexican street food to life through our food trucks and restaurants. With fresh, authentic ingredients and a passion for flavor, Wholly Frijoles celebrates the vibrant culinary traditions of Mexico, one dish at a time.
Welcome to Wholly Frijoles, a beloved staple of Northeast Ohio, serving authentic Mexican street food through our food trucks and brick-and-mortar locations for over a decade. We pride ourselves on delivering fresh, authentic, and delicious meals that celebrate the rich culinary traditions of Mexico.
Our menu features made-to-order burritos, tacos, bowls, nachos, and chef-inspired specialty dishes that capture the heart and soul of street food culture. From slicing our own meats to making our marinades and salsas from scratch, we also partner with local produce suppliers to ensure our customers enjoy the highest quality and freshest flavors that we have to offer.
Founded by Juan Gonzalez, our journey is rooted in a deep love for Mexican culture and cuisine. Trips to his home in Mexico City turned into research exhibitions where he sought out ways to introduce his own bold, and authentic flavors to the North.
Between him and his business partner Jorge, their mission became clear: to share their own unique and carefully crafted recipes and create a welcoming space for the community to experience the richness of Mexican culinary traditions that they themselves grew up on. Starting off as a food truck, Wholly Frijoles made its first debut back in 2013 when joining the Cleveland-area food truck scene.
With the continuous support of the community and building strong relationships with other small business owners, eventually the dream to expand into a restaurant that would be open all year to the public became a reality back in 2021 with our first location in Cuyahoga Falls.
Our mobile trucks continue to allow us to travel throughout Northeast Ohio, bringing delicious food to every celebration and gathering. Meanwhile, our restaurants in Cuyahoga Falls, Macedonia, and [soon to be] Brunswick provide a warm atmosphere where friends and family can come together to enjoy the history, vibrant flavors and authentic experiences of Mexican culture carefully cultivated by our team all year round.
